The Homewood Community Garden

Welcome gardeners!

Welcome to the Homewood Community Garden. We are an urban community garden in Pittsburgh, PA located on Forbes Avenue between Homewood Cemetary and Frick Park. Our mission is to provide people with a little bit of land on which to grow food, flowers, and the sense of well-being that comes from nurturing growing things.

  • We offer 20-by 20-feet plots for a fee of $30 per year. Availability is limited and plots are allocated on a first-come -first-serve basis. Interested in a plot? Find out more about how to join, availability of plots and rules and regulations.

  • Dogs are strictly prohibited in the garen.
